Head inside to get the Katana.Įntering the broken table door will lead you to living quarters that have the Katana nicely displayed on a table next to some couches, yours for the taking. You're here, the Katana is just inside the door that has a circular broken glass table outside of it. There's also a leather jacket in the same room on the couch if you need one.

Make sure you don't leave this one behind. It's found in a closet, next to a couple of purses, ammo, and inflatable tubes. You can get the Shotgun Rail attachment from the Level 2 worker's room nearest the stairwell you came from. Enter Level 2, and then scan the area for mutants-If it looks clear, sweep the whole floor of Level 2 to make sure there are no mutants left to ambush you while you pick up the Katana, Golden Armor, Shotgun Rail, and any other collectible notes from the worker's living quarters on this floor. Level 2 is where you will find the Katana, Golden Armor, and Shotgun Rail attachment-so you're almost there. Navigating Floor Two - Finding the Katana Location Grab these before proceeding further down to Level 2.Īfter you've picked Level 1 clean, find the stairs that go down and be ready for mutants that may be roaming around the stairwell. In another worker's room on Level 1, you will find the Numbers Translation clue, Putter, Golfballs, and a few other resources. but be ready with your weapons in case the traps miss their target. You can reset Traps as many times as you like, so re-arm them as much as possible and Keep the Traps between you and the mutants. Using the traps and the doorway to your advantage will help tremendously when killing dangerous mutants, as well as conserve ammo, and make an excellent place to fall back on if you are outnumbered in the rooms and levels ahead. However, some mutants will sometimes get stuck in the doorway, making them easy targets (and be sure to skin the dead mutants when the coast is clear for Creepy Armor if you need more protection). You can safely build 1 or 2 Fly Swatter Traps in this room while leaving enough space for you to draw mutants into your traps without setting them off yourself (On Normal Difficulty, your Traps won't hurt you). On the other side of the gold door, you find yourself on Level 1 of the facility, in a hallway full of dead baby mutants, ice, buckets, yellow pipes, and plants. Once you've saved your game and are ready to proceed, enter the golden door, but tread carefully as there will be many dangerous mutants ahead. You can also rest here if you need to refresh your sleep meter. If you are playing in single-player and it's been a while since your last save, we recommend moving the resource boxes out of the way and building a tent to save your game.
